The above presentation is a product from Organization Management II: Resource Support. The assignment required us to analyze performance data, a School Improvement Plan and the allotted amount of money to a school in order to make recommendations for the school budget.
I interviewed school and district leaders to learn more about school finance. I created the video at right to share my biggest takeaways.

I noticed that our school did not have a process for mediation. After researching best practices and learning what other schools do, I created the document above to use as a guide during mediation.

Teachers at Northern Vance High School receive a regular newsletter. We use it to ensure all staff are aligned, share instructional strategies, celebrate staff members, and share inspirational quotes and stories.

Teachers received the Staff Handbook at the beginning of the school year to share clear expectations and procedures.

The leadership team noticed at the beginning of the school year that teachers had to spend too much time searching for forms or learning what procedures to follow under different circumstances. As a result, after our school email accounts were transferred to Google, I created a Google Drive folder for teachers that includes forms, procedures, and various systems we have in place. Our goal was to further share clear and explicit expectations with the staff.
